Annapolis, Another Capitol

Conor and I explored Annapolis today. First stop was the capitol, or state house, the oldest state capitol that has been in continuous use. It had a lovely golden elevator.

It’s got a cannon brought over by the first settlers outside.

Then we did a great walking tour of the Naval Academy, concluded by the noon formation of midshipmen before their dinner.

I really like Annapolis. It’s much smaller than I had imagined, and has lovely windy old streets and houses. It’s very quiet though.

Tomorrow we get to go around with Papa! Finishing by moving our location to Donna and Jeremy’s. Then Friday we will head to Washington DC while Papa and Jeremy go to Goddard and Donna works. I will go to the Smithsonian again to try and see my friend’s coral in the hyperbolic crochet coral reef.
